Baby & Me: A group class designed for you and your child to acclimate to the water. Led by one instructor, you'll perform basic swimming exercises with your infant.
Ages: 3 months – 2 years

Level 1: Focuses on independent forward progression and gross motor skills. Skills include underwater immersion, independent floats (front and back), and swimming approximately 35-40 feet with basic freestyle stroke coordination.

Level 2: For confident swimmers who can swim 35 feet independently. This level emphasizes increasing freestyle distance to a full length (70 feet) and introduces backstroke. Students must swim both strokes one length of the pool to pass.

Level 3: Designed for students comfortable with freestyle and backstroke. Focuses on rotary breathing for freestyle and proper breaststroke kick. Students must demonstrate three laps of freestyle and backstroke, and two laps of breaststroke kick to pass.

Level 4: An intermediate level focusing on mastering the breaststroke pull and ensuring proper arm-leg coordination. Students should demonstrate proficiency in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke for three laps each to advance to the Development Group with Sunrsie Swim Club.
